Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Hettie Howell Bice. She was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church and was retired from Third Generation, Honea Path plant.
Surviving are a son Joseph Michael “Mike” Ashley of Honea Path, a daughter, Shelia Ashley Hodges (Ronnie) of Honea Path, a granddaughter raised in the home, Missy Ashley Langston (Jason) of Belton, and a great-grandson, Steele Langston.
She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Billy, Claude, Floyd, and Prue Bice, and two sisters, Lila Arnold and Sudie Bice Sanders.
Private Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Billy Slatten and Rev. Boyd Arnold officiating. The family requests that due to the current limits on assemblies, those who are not family members or participating in the service watch the service online at a later time.
