Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Sanford and Mildred Greenway Mauldin. She attended Bethany Baptist Church and formerly worked at Anderson Memorial Hospital.
Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 48 years of the home are: two daughters, Melissa (Mickey) Scott of Honea Path and Jennifer (Shawn Cleveland) Kennedy of Belton; her sister, Amanda (Jimmy) Daniel of Iva; and two grandchildren, Kacie Evatt and Nathan Kennedy; two special nieces, Cindy (Phil) Vickery and Kaurie Young, both of Greenwood; and her loving cat, Butterball.
No services are planned at this time.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Melissa, 509 Hamby Road, Honea Path.
