Dot Burdette

Belton – Dorothy “Dot” Euzelia Wilson Burdette, 94, widow of Edward Clarence "Bill" Burdette, formerly of 2702 Jones Chapel Road, died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at National Health Care of Anderson.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Newt and Nora Holliday Wilson. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Burdette had worked for 20 years at Riegel Textile Co, and retired after 20 years at Wamsutta Mills of Anderson.

Surviving are a son, Terry Wayne Burdette of Belton, a daughter, Cathy Burdette of Belton, three grandchildren, Ronny Burdette (Katie) of Summerville, Anna Burdette of Williamston, and Mandy Newton (Clifford) of Hobart, Australia, and four great-grandchildren, Ava Burdette, Garrett Burdette, Bryce Newton, and Emme Newton.

She was pre-deceased by four brothers, Bratton, Ben, Boyce, and George Wilson and three sisters, Louise Moore, Addie Alewine, and Anna Saylors.

Private Family services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Krieger officiating. The public may view the service online at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com at 3 PM on Tuesday.
