Juliette Evans

Columbia – Juliette Christina Evans, 40, of Bethel Church Road, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of Cheryl Thompson Evans of Princeton  and Johnny Mac Evans of Anderson. She was of the Methodist faith and was a School Media Specialist at Sandel Elementary School in Columbia. Juliette graduated in the BHP High School Class of 1997, and attained the following degrees; Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from the College of Charleston, Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of South Carolina, and obtained the Juris Doctorate degree from the USC School of  Law. She was a member of the S.C. School Library Association.

Surviving are her Mother of Princeton, her father of Anderson, her companion, Brian Rogers of Kannapolis, NC, two brothers, Jonathan Evans (Halee) of Anderson and Justen Evans (Tara) of Belton, her aunts, Polly Thompson, Karen Freeman, Gina Carver, and Sharie Freeman, and five nieces and nephews, Carter, Gamble, Kate, Annabelle, and Leah.

She was pre-deceased by maternal grandparents, Alfred and Juanita Thompson, and paternal grandmother, Helen Paschal.

Private Family Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path. The service will be streamed live and the public may view the service online at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com.

The family will be at the home of her mother Cheryl in Princeton. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to purchase books for the Sandel Elementary Library, 2700 Seminole Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
