Born in North Adams MA, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Doris Choquette Champagne. She was a retired seamstress.
Surviving are: two sons, Mark (Tammy) Gymer of Honea Path and Matthew Gymer of Anderson; her daughter, Diane Johnson of Honea Path; two brothers, Robert Champagne and Michael (Lori) Champagne; her sister, Patricia Martin; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild due in June.
Mrs. Gymer is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Gerald Champagne and Leo Champagne.
