Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Billy Gaines, Sr. and Peggy Matherson Estes. He was a carpenter, and former employee of GSP International Airport.
Surviving are a son, Hayden Estes of Laurens, four daughters, Janie Estes and Cameron Estes both of Laurens, Ashley Estes of Middleburg, FL, and Darian Estes of Greenville. He was pre deceased by three sisters, Barbara Padgett, Fran Houghton, and Jane Batson.
Memorial Services with limited seating will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals. Social Distancing and Masks are required.
The family is at their respective homes and will speak to friends after the service at Parker-White Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers memorials should be made to the charity of one’s choice. Online Condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
