Phillip Cooley

Travelers Rest – Phillip Manuel Cooley, 59, husband of Angela Bowlin Cooley, of Old White Horse Road, formerly of Honea Path, died Friday, August 28, 2020 at the home of his daughter in Lyman.

Born in Denver, Colorado, he was a son of the late David Manuel and Peggy Lorene Smith Cooley. He had worked as an Iron Man with Keith Welding Service for 45 years,.

Surviving are his wife of the home, two sons, Michael Cooley (Serenity) of Durham, NC, and Matthew Cooley of Honea Path, two daughters, Missy Lorene Campbell (Chad) of Lyman and Kayla Cooley of Honea Path, a step-son, Kevin Bowlin of Honea Path, two brothers, Kelly Cooley of Piedmont and Shane Cooley (Brenda) of Honea Path, two sisters, Teresa Williamson of Elsah, IL and Robin Stallings of Belton, and seven grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Cathy Gambrell and Joy McGuire and a grandson, Matthew Graham.

Memorial Services with limited seating will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Honea Path with Chaplin Brian Bailey, Mr. Glen Welch, and Mr. Clint King officiating. Masks and social distancing are required. Committal Service will follow at Eastview Cemetery, Honea Path.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Sunday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
