Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Luther S. Hartsell and Hazel Bowman McCasland. She was a member of Hodges Church of God. She was retired from Michelin of Greenville.
Surviving are two daughters, Dottie Jones of Honea Path, Tina Gilstrap of Honea Path, two adopted granddaughters, Alethea Moore of Ware Shoals, and Jennifer Moore Carson of Anderson, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was pre deceased by her step-father, Floyd McCasland, a son, Marty Moore and Michael Anthony Moore, a daughter, Deborah Moore White, two brothers, Luther and Charles Hartsell, and a sister, Gail Cox.
Funeral services with limited seating will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Hodges Church of God with Rev. Donald Freeman and Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating. Social distancing and masks will be required. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Earl Quick.
