Born in Waukegan, IL, he was a son of the late Russell B. and Edith Kirpatrick Miller. He was of the Christian Faith and was a 14 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, having served in the Korean War. He loved casinos, fishing, bowling and fur babies.
Surviving are his wife of the home, a brother, Robert Poyser (Linda) of Mishawaka, IN, two sisters, Marilyn Kauffman of Mishawaka, IN, and Kathyrn Stscherban of Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Russell “Bud” Miller and three sisters, Phyllis Grise, Joanne Holly, and Janice Freet.
