Bobbie Jean Rose

Laurens – Bobbie Jean Hudson Rose, 80, of Neely Ferry Road, gained her heavenly wings on Friday, September 25, 2020. She is now in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ.

Bobbie was born and raised in Birchwood, TN, by two loving parents, the late James Robert and Ida Mae Argo Hudson and older siblings. Bobbie claimed Laurens, SC as her home for the past 37 years and was adopted through love by her Tumblin family. She was a member of Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are two beloved sons, James Jones and Bobby Jones, both of Dalton, GA, and her dear friend Linda Tumblin of the home, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews

Funeral services with limited seating will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals, with her nephew, Rev. Jeremiah Strickland and brother-in-Christ, Mr. Gene Wilson officiating. Social distancing and masks are required. Burial will follow in Union (Old Quaker) Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at Parker-White Funeral Home on Sunday prior to the service. Bobbie’s family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice, Greenville, SC for their tender care. If donations are made, please do so to the charity of your choice or to a rescue center for cats and dogs.
