Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Ross and Mary Prichard Pitts. He was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was a retired salesman.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Melanie Pitts of Belton, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, David Black of Honea Path and Jimmy (Joann) Stancil of Seneca and a nephew, Stan (Denise) Pitts of Snellville, GA. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Mark Pitts, and a brother Billy Pitts.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 5, 2020 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Greg Black officiating.
