Born in Donalds, he was a son of the late James Henry Hill Sr. and Susie Elizabeth Haynes Hill. He was twice married, first to the late Gladys Ida Gilmer Hill, and then to the late Brenda S. Burgin. He was a member of Donalds Baptist Church, and had worked as a carpenter.
Mr. Hill is survived by one daughter: Karen Davenport and husband John of Donalds; one grandson: Lee Davenport and wife Morgan of Donalds; and two great-grandchildren: Hunter and Daniel Davenport.
He was preceded in death by one son: Connie Mack Hill, and one brother: James Henry Hill, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2020 at Donalds Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Thigpen officiating. Viewing and visitation will be prior to the service at the graveside, beginning at 1:00 PM.
