Born in Abbeville, SC, he was a son of the late Brantley Junior and Helen Elizabeth Young McGill. He attended Winona Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by a step-son, William Simmons and daughter, Celena Brock of Due West, two sisters, Judy Campbell of Honea Path and Elizabeth Chadwick of Due West, three grandchildren, Ashley Simmons, Karley McGill, and Cody McGill, and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a step-son, James Norman Simmons
Graveside services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the McGill Family Cemetery, 550 George Alewine Road, Due West with Rev. Bruce Cooley officiating.
