Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Bell Ables McAlister. She was a member of Keowee Baptist Church, and was retired from her work as a seamstress from the Honea Path Shirtmakers. She was the matriarch of the family.
In addition to her husband of the home, Mrs. Crawford is survived by two brothers: Roger Dale McAlister and Jamie Lee McAlister of Donalds and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: James David McAlister and John Robert McAlister.
Funeral services with limited seating and social distancing will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 at Pruitt Funeral Home, prior to the service.
