Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Addie Lee Jennings Campbell. She was a homemaker and was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Dale Phillips (Janice) and Donnie Phillips (Elaine) both of Honea Path, a daughter, Allie Hill (Tommy) of Donalds, a sister, Sybil McCoy (Clarence) of Honea Path, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Maxie Phillips, a daughter, Ruth Davis, four brothers, John, Roy, Clarence, and Wade Campbell, three sisters, Helen Phillips, Bobbie Posey, and Betty Alewine, and a grandson, Maxie Phillips, Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Eastview Cemetery with Rev. Richard Ashley officiating. Social distancing and masks are recommended.
