Sadie McGaha

 Honea Path – Sadie Doris Fisher McGaha, 77, wife of Alfred Bates “Pete” McGaha, of Harper Street, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Oddie Ray and Mamie Doris Powell Fisher. She was a member of Donalds Church of God and had worked at Honea Path Shirt Makers.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 58 years of the home are: a son, Dale McGaha of Honea Path; two daughters, Sharon (Yancy) Crosby of Honea Path and Tammy (Robert) Alewine of Donalds; a brother, Ray Junior (Ann) Fisher of Iva; a sister, Dorothy Oulla of Ware Shoals; two grandchildren, Serah Alewine and Linsey Crosby; special niece, Tabitha (Michael) Pelfrey of Belton; great-niece, Adason Pelfrey; and great-nephew, Landon Pelfrey.

Mrs. McGaha was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Curtis McGaha; three brothers, Ozzie “O.B.” Fisher, Herbert “Hub” Fisher, and John Will Fisher; four sisters, Christine McGinnis, Nina Maude West, Ina Ree McDonald, and Martha Hamby; and two grandchildren, Courtney Jo McGaha and Kinsley Crosby.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Donalds Church of God with Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. Masks and social distancing is recommended. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home. Mask and social distancing is required. Messages of condolence may be made to the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
