Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Junior and Myrtle Ashley Bratcher. Mrs. Brock was a long time member of Broadmouth Baptist Church, where she met A.C., her loving and devoted husband of 69 years. She retired from 3rd Generation. She loved sewing, cooking, and her family, especially all her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: a son Roger (Betty) Brock of Honea Path; her daughter, Wanda (Dennis) Alewine of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Ami (Ryan) Gambrell and Shannon Quarles; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb Gambrell, Adrienne (Tyler) McWhorter, Alivia McWhorter, and Alec Quarles; one great-great grandson, Daxton Warrick; and special niece, Patricia (Steve) Lusk.
Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ernest Darrell Bratcher, Elbert Bratcher, Jr., Turner Frank Bratcher, and Clinton Bratcher; and a son, Johnny Darrell Brock.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Broadmouth Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
