Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Basil Lee and Frankie Sue Couch Davis. He was of the Methodist faith and was retired from Santee Printworks. He was an avid Carolina fan.
Surviving are his wife of the home and a son Donald Scott (Amy) Davis of Mt. Pleasant, one brother, Larry Michael “Bones” Davis of Lugoff, one grandson, Layton Davis, two nieces, Kelley and Kara, and three nephews, Heath, Ty, and Darren.
He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Franklin Lee “Jitter” Davis, James Richard Davis, and Basil Wayne Davis.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.
