Born in Oconee County, he was a son of Irene Hunicutt of Toccoa, GA and the late M.D. Vaughn. He was of the Baptist Faith and was formerly employed at Gambrell’s Logging.
Surviving are his mother of Toccoa, Ga, his wife of the home, two sons, Terrylee MD Vaughn and Randall Joseph Vaughn, both of Ware Shoals, a daughter, Samantha Lucille Vaughn of Laurens, a brother Tracy Vaughn of Westminster, two sisters, Vickie Gaines of Ware Shoals and Rene Vaughn of Toccoa, GA, and five grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Jamie Vaughn and a sister, Rhonda Gail Gaines.
