Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late George and Sara Wells Brown. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star. and was retired from Riegel Textile Co. She was a charter member of Welcome Presbyterian Church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by numerous cousins and special children raised in the home, Stacy Gambrell, Brandon Shedd, and Bradley Shedd (Allison). She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Ann Brock.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM, on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery, Honea Path with Rev. David Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
