Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of James Michael and Peggy Diane Davis Epps. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Honea Path are: her grandmother, Helen Epps Mitchell of Honea Path; four uncles, Stan (Annette) Epps of Iva, Toppa Epps of Greenville, Dennis (Edith) Davis of Greenwood and Roy (Carol) Davis of Ware Shoals; and numerous cousins.
Megan was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James E. Epps; and her maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Dorothy King Davis.
