Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late William Alton and Ethel Fleming Hughes. She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church. A 1964 graduate of Ware Shoals High School, she worked as teller for many years at Heritage Federal Savings and Loan of Ware Shoals and retired from Belks of Greenwood.
Surviving are a son, Scott Jones (Angie) of Donalds, a sister, Connie Cooley of Belton, two grandchildren, Katelyn Borgnis and Tristian Crawford, and a great-grandchild, Raygan Ross.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM on Tuesday at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service.
