Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Jimmy Wayne and Patricia Gail Bruce Richey. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and formerly worked as a truck driver.
Surviving are: his brother, Mike (Becky) Richey of Honea Path; and two nephews, Bradley Richey and Chris Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Arlene Richey Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Edmonds officiating.
