A lifelong resident of Ware Shoals Mrs. Bayne was born in Rock Hill. She was a daughter of the late George L. and Thelma Clamp Grant. A graduate of Ware Shoals High School, she was a member of the Ware Shoals United Methodist Church and Boyd Bobo Chapter 144 of Order of the Eastern Star. She was retired from Chiquola Manufacturing Co.
Surviving are a son, Charles Thomas “Tommy” Bayne (Julie) of Athens, GA, two grandsons, Josh Bayne (Laura) of Athens and Jody Bayne (Alex) of Chicago, IL, and three great-grandchildren, Kate Bayne, Avery Bayne, and Simon Bayne.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 21 at 1 PM at Parker White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals with Rev. Byron Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Hodges, SC.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12 to 1 P.M. on Monday, February 21 at Parker White Funeral Home, prior to the service
