Jack Robinson

Anderson – Jim Jackson “Jack” Robinson, 94, widower of the late Margaret Woods Robinson, formerly of Iva, died Monday, April 18, 2022 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

 

Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Andrew Shed and Ada Bennett Robinson. He was of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired building contractor. Mr. Robinson loved reading his bible and playing the piano, which he played by ear.

Surviving are: his daughter, Gloria Ann (Winfred) Lohr of Abbeville; a sister, Martha (Joe) Malek of Easley; a grandson, Christopher Lohr; a great-grandson, Jeremiah Lohr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; four brothers, Dewey, Grady, Andrew, and Kenneth; and four sisters, Ruth Crawford, Racheal Looper, Ann Hammond, and Mildred Keith.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home and Patriot Hospice for the loving care they always provided Mr. Robinson. 

Funeral services with military honors will be held a 3 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Daventon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brent Powell officiating.
