Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Willie Carbit and Vinnie Estelle Crawford Lollis. She was a member of the Honea Path Church of God where she had served as a Sunday School teacher. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was retired from Chiquola Mfg. Co.
Surviving are her daughter, Christy Babb of Honea Path, four grandchildren, David Lee Minor (Eve) of Honea Path, Rev. C.J. Minor of Cleveland, TN, L.J. Minor (Brittney) of Anderson, and Hope Stone (Cody) of Abbeville, and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by five brothers, Luther Lollis, Riley Lollis, Donald Lollis, William Lollis, and Calvin Lollis, and two sisters, Frances Brock and Clara Belle Ashley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. C.J. Minor and Rev. Eric Shuler officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends Thursday from 10 – 11 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
