Born in Anderson County, she was as daughter of the late William Ernest and Bobbie Jean Jennings Crawford. She attended Chiquola Baptist Church, and worked as a cook for Lou and Perry’s.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son Otis Smith and wife Jessica of Honea Path, her daughter June Holder and husband Benji of Honea Path, two sisters: Vickie Turpin and husband James of Belton and Rhonda McCranie of Williamston; and nine grandchildren: Harley, Alyssa, Stacy, Dana, Jasmine, Bryson, Presley, Lane and Josh.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Marshall Crawford and Travis Wilson Crawford; and two sisters: Sharon Keeler and Sheila Brown.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Donalds Church of God with Rev. Bryan Jennings and Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
