Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Howard Treadwell and the late Nina Kerr Robinson. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked for many years as a beautician before her retirement.
Surviving are a daughter, Elaine Phillips (Donnie) of Honea Path, one sister, Shelby Hendrix (Gerald) of Cleveland, GA and one granddaughter, Sara Hughes and two great-grandchildren, McKenzie Hughes and Andrew Hughes.
She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth E. Martin and a brother, Larry Treadwell and a grandson, Chris Hughes.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Nix, Rev. Mike Smith, and Mr. Tony Treadwell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
