Ronnie Lindley

Ware Shoals – Ronnie Furman Lindley, 82,  husband of Sybil Bagwell Lindley, of Higgins Drive, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

 

Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late John Furman and Allene Pearson Lindley. He was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he had formerly served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Sunday School Director. Ronnie was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Greenville Post Office.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are; two sons, John (Traci) Lindley of Watkinsville GA, and Greg (Jennifer) Lindley of Hodges; his daughter, Quinn (Joe) Cirillo of Irmo; six grandchildren, Will Lindley, Mallie-Grace Lindley, Karlie Lindley, Raeanna Lindley, Anna Cirillo, and Katie Cirillo; his brother, Farrell (Mary Joy) Lindley of Johnsonville; and his special puppy companion, Bella.

Mr. Lindley was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joline Lindley.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Friday, November 18, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home and will receive friends from 11-12 Noon Friday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to The Greenwood County Humane Society, The Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, Calvary Baptist Church, or to Hospice of the Piedmont.  Messages of condolence may be made to the family at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
