Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late George Wesley and Ruth Huff Massey. She was a graduate of Ware Shoals High School Class of 1955 and a member of the Ware Shoals United Methodist Church where she was active in Sunday School, the Choir, and served on the church building committee.
Surviving are a son, Billy Sprouse (Faye) of Ware Shoals, a daughter, Cindy Sprouse Klauck (Uwe) of Greenwood, a brother, George Massey (Barbara) of Edisto Beach, four grandchildren, Butler Sprouse (Kara), Stacey Bass (Johnathan), Bjorn Klauck, and Caelum Klauck (Whitney), six great-grandchildren, Aiden Doyle, Anna Doyle, Brantlee Sprouse, Deacon Sprouse, Emma Bass, and Lily Bass. In addition to her husband and her parents she was pre-deceased by two sisters, Jewel Lee and Etolia Elledge.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Ware Shoals United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Rogers and Mr. Uwe Klauck officiating.
