Born in Abbeville, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Elizabeth Galloway Worley. She attended Honea Path Church of God and retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a loving and caring mother.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons: Dennis Wayne (Lisa) Wooten of Belton, Kenneth Gene Wooten and Mark Allen Wooten of Honea Path; one daughter, Betty Teresa Wooten of Belton; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sons: Jimmy Ray Wooten, James Wooten, Johnny Wooten; one daughter, Tammy Wooten; five brothers, Roy Lee Worley, Clyde Worley, Olin Worley, Jodie Worley, Charlie Worley; one sister, Bobbie Jean Campbell.
