Born in Anderson County to the late John Alfred and Wilda Banister Smith. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, and was retired from her work at Becton Dickenson and Company.
Surviving are her son Marion Gregory Tuten of Honea Path, her brother Archie Smith (Patsy) of Honea Path, two sisters: Faye Jennings (Bill) of Honea Path and Nancy S. Brock of Honea Path; and her grandson Braden Gregory Tuten of Walhalla.
She was predeceased by her sister Lydia Poore.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Krieger officiating.
