Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of Catherine Sellers Lindsay and the late Donald “Duck” Hugh Lindsay. She was a graduate of BHP High School and worked as a Rural Carrier with the United States Postal Service.
Surviving in addition to her mother of the home are: her son, Creed Thompson of the home; her daughter, Kinzingten Lindsay of the home; her “step-daughter” Rylee Thompson of Pickens; her brother, Dusty (Chasity) Lindsay of Honea Path; special niece and nephew, Briar Lindsay and Brick Lindsay; and her special companion, Andy Smith of the home.
Tonya was preceded in death by her father and her beloved Ricky Thompson.
Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, June 30, 2023 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.
