Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Bradley and Helen Walker Singleton. She was a member of Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church and served on the church Fellowship committee for many years. She was raised in Donalds, a 1966 graduate of Laurens High School. She retired from Ware Shoals School District #51 in 2006.
Surviving are her husband, Billy of the home, a son, Scott Small (Jessica) of Anderson, a daughter, Angela Ackerson (David) of Ware Shoals, a bother, Jim Singleton (Margaret) of Columbia and a sister, Linda Tyler of Columbia, several nieces and nephews and a special feline friend, Mojo.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church, 11570 Indian Mound Road, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Nathan Wiles and Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park Cemetery, 3007 US Hwy. 25, Hodges.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 12 – 1 PM Saturday, before the service at Mt. Gallagher Baptist Church.
