Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ida Elizabeth Vaughn Young. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are: her son, Travis (Alicia) Posey of Williamston; her daughter, Michelle (Ray) Davis of Belton; a sister, Jo Patterson of Belton; and seven grandchildren, Cody Posey, Carley (Daniel) Whitehead, Cameron Posey, Dalton Posey, Deontae (Katelyn)Johnson, Jessica Davis and Joe Davis; a great grandchild, Chance Posey; special niece, Tiffany Suit of Honea Path; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Henry Young and a sister, Sudie Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Due West Baptist Church Cemetery.
