Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late June Clyde and Jennie Louise McGaha Stone. She was a member of Goose Creek United Methodist Church.
She was the last member of her immediate family and is survived by a granddaughter, Melanie Lavender of North Charleston, and a great-grandson, Jordan Stewart.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son, Robert Michael Maddox, a daughter, Janet Lee Lavender, and two brothers, Jackie Eugene Stone and Clarence Edward Stone.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Garden of Memories, Belton with Rev. Steve McGaha officiating.
