Joretta, better know as “Jo” was the daughter of the late Charles Casper Brissey and Laura Macie Mitchell Brissey. She retired from The Burton Center in Ware Shoals. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist church where she had taught Sunday School and was active in the Choir.

She is survived by her son, Robert Eugene Bradley, Jr.(Bob) and  his wife Donna of Seneca, her brother, Charles Brissey and his wife Dianne, and her sister, Linda Crenshaw. She was predeceased by her sisters, Robbie Swartzel and Geraldine Griffin.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.

The family would like to thank Ashley Place Assisted Living in Greenwood for welcoming Jo to their family for the last couple of months and the staff at Cottingham House in Seneca for the excellent, loving care they gave Jo in her final days.
