Born in Belton, he was a son of the late Ernest Raymond and Beulah Smith Ballard. He was a member of Columbia Baptist Church.
Mr. Ballard is survived by his two sisters: Clara Fleming (Tommy) of Belton and Betty Gwinn (Tom) of Honea Path.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Duncan and Jearllene Scott.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2 P.M. at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Phillips officiating. Visitation will follow the memorial service in the chapel.
