Born in Anderson, S.C. she was a daughter of the late Herbert Monroe and Mary Rebecca Johnson Ownbey. She was a member of the Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from Timken.
Surviving are: one son, Tony Earl Jordan of Anderson: two brothers, J.T. (Dianne) Ownbey of Craytonville and Ronnie Dale (Rhonda) Ownbey of Belton; and two sisters, Margaret Elrod and Reba Ownbey both of Belton.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Donnie Ownbey and Larry Ownbey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Elrod, Rev. Eric Boggs, and Mrs. Jennifer Elrod officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
