Born in Ware Shoals, he was a son of the late Ted and Betty Jean Gillespie Rosser. He attended Donalds Church of God and had worked at Riegel Textiles, Richloom and Odell Mop Company.
Surviving are: his brother, William (Dianne) Rosser of Honea Path; his sister, Sherry Hall of Donalds; and his nephew, Brian Rosser.
