Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley Miles and Mattie Chase Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of The Jehovah Witnesses Congregation in Greenwood S.C. He was a retired dietician and worked in the healthcare industry.
Surviving are: three sons, Jason (Tacita) Williams of Honea Path,SC, Demond (Ayishah) Cheatham of Philadelphia, PA and Vernie (Stephanie) Cheatham of Honea Path,SC; a daughter, Angel Frazier of Philadelphia, PA; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his loving friend and companion, Sarah Lennon of Honea Path, SC.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Vernetta Cheatham, and his sister Everone Permint.
