Born in Anderson County, he was son of the late James Roy and Martha Latimer McMillan. He was a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church and was a farmer. He loved farming, working on his tractors and antique tractors. Tim was a hard worker and believed in doing things the “old fashion” way.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: his son, James Timothy (Jamie) McMillan of Honea Path; his daughter, Brooke (Mark) Gustafson of Charleston WV; his sister, Linda Branyon of Honea Path; four grandchildren, Cole McMillan, Nathan McMillan, Zoey Gustafson, and Luke Gustafson; and two great-grandchildren, Branson McMillan and Kolbie McMillan, and one more due in August.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Austin McMillan.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2024 at Barkers Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Taylor and Rev. Mark Krieger officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.

The family is at the home of his son, 4003 Shady Grove Road, Honea Path, and will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Monday at the church prior to the service.
