Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Luther Armstead “Luke” and Betty Jean Fleming Hogan. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a mechanic.
Surviving are his long time companion Stacey Dodson, his son Kevin James Hogan of Greenwood, his daughter, Jeana Marie Gantt and husband Samuel of Donalds, two brothers: Terry Michael Hogan of Donalds and Robert Blaine Odom of Clemson. He was also awaiting the birth of his first grandson, John Danial Gantt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
