Born in Anderson County, he was a son of John Frank Davis, Jr., and the late Lula Mae Vaughn Davis. He graduated from Tri County Technical College with an Associates Degree and was employed with Greenwood Fabrication. Mark was the type person that loved everybody and everybody loved him. He was a great daddy, husband, brother and son to his family. Mark knew how to fix anything and he was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan.
Surviving in addition to his father of Honea Path and his loving wife, Elizabeth Inez McAbee Davis of the home are; his son, Sean Mark Davis of the home; his brother, Paul (Beth) Davis of Honea Path; his mother in law and father in law, Randy (Janice) McAbee of Powersville; two sisters in law, Dean (Nicole) Robinson and Will (Julie) Bailey, both of Powdersville; and nieces and nephews that loved him dearly, Ryan Sanders, Ashe Bennett, Christopher Bennett, Ryleigh Sanders, Roxanne Sanders, Raelynn Sanders, Rachael Sanders, Mallory Robinson, Ryleigh Robinson, Evie Bailey, Lorelai, Georgie and one on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday June 2, 2025 at Broadmouth Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Sunday June 1, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path.
