Born in Greenville County, he was son of the late JC and Hazel Bagwell Cummings. He was a member of Donalds Church of God and retired from Torrington. Mr. Cummings was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are: his sister, Fay C. Hopkins of Donalds; his grandson, Austin Holloway; nieces and nephews, Tonya (David) Lindsay of Donalds, Ricky (Christie) Jennings of Belton, Keith (Pam) Jennings of Craytonville, Brian Cummings, Ashley Lollis and Brandy Bell.
Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, James Charles Cummings; his daughters, Anissa Dawn Cummings and Jamie Annette Cummings; two brothers, David Cummings and Danny Cummings; his sister, Ann Jennings; nieces and nephews, Jackie Bell, Scottie Bell, Brandon Jennings and Colt Jennings.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Garden of Memories.
