Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Roy and Doris McDuffie Campbell. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Belton and retired from Timken. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and his family. He was famous for his turtle stew. He was a good grandfather and loved his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 22 years of the home are: two sons, Scotty (Michelle) Campbell of Anderson and Steven (Deana) Campbell of Abbeville; three daughters, Janet (Lewis) Saxton of Belton, Becky (Jim) Foster of Belton and Peggy (Wayne) Price of Bradley; two sisters, Jackie Fleming of Donalds and Dot Fleming of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Hank Campbell; two brothers, Larry Campbell and Ed Campbell; and a sister, Emmie Lollis.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday June 21, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Janet, 824 Trail Rd, Belton and will receive friends from 2-3 P.M. Saturday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service.
