Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Luther and Minnie Mae Waldrop Honea. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church, and was retired from his work as a slicer operator for Riegel Textile Company.
Mr. Honea is survived by Bessie Lee Honea of Belton; two sons: Roger Dale Honea of Belton and David Stanley Honea of Anderson; his daughter Vicki Todd (Doug) of Belton; six grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his four brothers: Pete, Ralph, Larry and Charles; and his four sisters: Margaret, Virginia, Flora Mae and Betty.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday night from 6-8 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home.
