Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Thomas Henry and Mary Frances Hannah Cooley. He was a member Beech Springs Church and formerly worked at Air Products in Piedmont. Randy was a lifelong outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also looked forward to weekend softball tournaments. He was an avid Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves fan. He formerly volunteered with Honea Path EMS (Rescue Squad). Randy loved his God and his family, especially spending time with his grandboys.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of the home are: two sons, Jeremy (Brittney) Cooley of Belton and Eastin Cooley of Honea Path; his sister, Connie (Tony) Smith of Belton; three grandsons, Grayson Cooley, Avery Cooley and Jake Cooley; several special nieces; and his beloved dog, Cali.
A memorial service to celebrate Randy’s life will be held at 4 P.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Boggs and Rev. Dr. Tony Smith officiating.
