Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Eulala White Weathers. She was a member of Henderson Baptist Church and was retired from Clinton Mills, Bailey Plant.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family including in-laws and is survived by two sons, Floyd Eugene Walker (Betty) of Laurens, and Charles Edward Walker (Shirley) of Laurens, two daughters, Patricia Ann Nelson (Buddy) of Ware Shoals and Sandra Faye Wilson (Roger) of Abbeville, of Fountain Inn, and four grandchildren, Michael Eugene Walker, Casey McAlister, Carroll Nelson, and Tonya Parnell, seven great-grandchildren, Hannah Walker, Kati Elrod, McKensie McAlister, Hayden Nelson, Nikki Freeman, Heather James, and Christian Fields, and three great-great-grandchildren, Hallie Mae Freeman, Raylon Freeman, and Trace James.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by four brothers, Arthur Lee, Paul, Vernon, and Robert Weathers, and four sisters, Agnes Abercrombie, Margaret Vaughn, Mattie Sue Hanks, and Alice Masters, and a great-grandson, David Charles Walker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals, with Rev. Mark Lowe and Rev. Mark Riser officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Hodges.
The family will be at the home of her son, Floyd Walker, 629 Boyd’s Mill Pond Road, Laurens, SC 29360 and will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home prior to the service.
