Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Louie Preston and Sarah Elizabeth Moore Adams. He was a God-fearing man, and he loved his family dearly. They were his life. He was retired from his work in construction for GE, and was a member of Ware Shoals Lodge #306 A.F.M. and was a Shriner.
Mr. Adams is survived by his three daughters: Becky Cann (Billy) of Donalds, Amy Meeks (Lanny) of Hodges and Connie Sizemore (Phil) of Woodstock, GA; his brother Phillip Lee Adams (Betty) of Hodges; five grandchildren: Adam Cann, Austin Cann (Kassie), Hannah Adams, Gracie Sizemore and Noelle Sizemore; and six great-grandchildren: Becca Lynn Cann, Rainnie Cann, Emi Cann, Creed Cann, Maisee Cann and Liv Adams.
He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Ray Adams and his sister Clara Ruth Adams Hughes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 8 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel in Honea Path with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. The family will recieve friends prior to the service from 1-2 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
